Francis’ presence transcends death. We see figures mourning is passing and the multitudes of people that feel his loss are like raindrops on a dreary day. However, although his physical body does not exist on earth anymore, his presence still dwells and we continue to celebrate him and his teachings. He is now in the safe hands of our Creator, whom we will also hope to be with when our time comes.

Musing: Together with Sr Francis, am I able to see Death as a Sister and welcome her when my hour has come?  This year being the 800th year of the Transitus (Death) of St Francis, how is St Francis showing me how to transit back to God?
